JDC and the Global Jewish Community Celebrate Rosh Hashanah in Color
For the past few years, Jewish children living in the former Soviet Union (FSU) and Europe have been creating original artwork featuring a variety of symbolic representations of Rosh Hashanah. They often share their masterpieces with JDC, and fortunately 2008 was no exception. The mosaic of drawings and photos above showcases images from Jewish youth throughout the FSU and Eastern Europe.
